We believe in a TRUE Planned Maintenance (PM) service.  Not only do your Forklifts need PM service, but your Dock plates, Aerial Equipment, and Industrial Batteries and Chargers need attention as well.  Our Forklift PM is not your quickie oil change and lube that our competitors deliver.  Our PM service is detailed, extensive, and productive.  Planned Maintenance is needed to keep your engine running properly and unit operating safely.  During a PM service our technicians will often find areas that need repair or service before they cause major damage to your equipment or personnel, thats what PM service is all about.  PM schedules are flexible, set to the needs of you and your units.  Some trucks may need PM'd on a 60 day, 90 day, or greater schedule, all depending on use and environment.  Call Larry and he will recommend a PM Service schedule to suit your needs.

INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES:

• new air filter
• new oil filter
• fresh engine oil
• top off and check all fluids (antifreeze, hydraulic, transmission, brake, and battery)
• lubricate all zerk fittings
• clean and coat battery cable ends/posts and check for corrosion
• inspect distributor cap, rotor, ignition system, and plug wires
• check for any leaks (engine oil, hydraulic fluid, L.P. gas, etc.)
• inspect safety equipment (brake lights, horn, strobe light, etc.)
• inspect and lubricate (if needed) chains, mast slide rails, and sideshift rail
• blow out radiator and engine compartment
• check: forks and latches, load backrest, and over head guard 
• inspect brake pedal free play, stopping response, inching control, and park brake
• check all tire wear, lugs and lug nuts
• AND EVEN MORE!!!

ELECTRIC UNITS:

• many of the above items PLUS...
• check speed control, creep speed, 1A speed
• inspect drive motor, hydraulic motor, and power steering motor
• inspect and blow out all motor brushes and contactor tips
• check battery discharge indicator
• check seat switch and brake switch for proper operation.
